Woodbridge Country Club

I have about 5 rounds under my belt at WCC and I can say that it's the best all-around experience in the area. The greens fees are very reasonable, and the the staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. For example, the last time I golfed there the Ranger was driving around THANKING groups for keeping a good pace (good idea), and was asking groups coming off 18 earnestly how they liked the course. Very unusual (in a good way).

I like the layout--tough course but fair. And I like the club's attitude. That portends well for WCC's future as they really seem to want to set higher goals for the course and club in general.

Probably shouldn't be saying all these things (could make my greens fees higher in the future) but what the heck

We like the course, but were only informed when we arrived that 6 Greens were being maintained and temporary greens were being used.

good.. some par fours and one par three a bit long from white so i played the yellow tees which made it acceptable

there were some holes where the fairways had some wear but some were in pristine condition. Green rolled true and pretty consistent. Pace of play was excellent. will definitely go back!

Good course with a couple different style holes. 1 too many downhill par 3s. Good, semi-challenging greens. Well-maintained.

Fun course with lots of uphill/downhill holes and good elevation changes. Conditioning overall great except for holes 1 and 18 - don't be discouraged by #1, it gets a lot better. Greens have a lot of coutour, and if they ever let them get very fast, they would be very difficult to putt. Pace of play was slow, but when prompted the staff sent out rangers to push people along. I'd definitely return!

The layout is fun and challenging however, the condition is awful. I played this course last year and I refused to play there the rest of the year. Our group decided to try it again this year. I explained this to the starter and he agreed the course was rough last year but, they had just taken over from a previous management group that neglected the course and that the course was in " great shape" now. Well IT IS STILL a mess. There are many fairways that are mud and dirt with clumps of grass here and there. Some of the greens also have bare spots and matted down areas of mud and dirt. It's not like this was a cheap round either. We played at a "discounted" rate of $48.... What a waste of money!

Woodbridge is a nice golf course. The staff is very nice and accommodating, and they keep the pace of play reasonable. We played at 7:07 am and finished at almost exactly 4 hours. Not a long course, and not extremely difficult. The bunkers could use some sand as they were almost down to dirt, and the greens and fairways seem to have suffered a bit from our recent heat wave. But it also seems that most places have the same problem, so it's completely understandable. The greens do roll great though, better than most courses, and they have some very tricky breaks. I will definitely be back!

FIRST TIME AT COURSE , 8 GUYS, COURSE WAS IN GREAT SHAPE, GREENS VERY TRUE. GENTLEMEN IN PRO SHOP BOTH FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. WE WERE OFF ON TIME AND COURSE CREW STOPPED CUTTING OR MAINTAINING SOON AS WE PULLED UP. WE'LL ALL " B BACK" AGAIN

Tee boxes were a little confusing, pace of play was good until the 14th hole. Overall the course was nice.

This was the second time I played this course and the second time the weather didn't cooperate. Light misty rain for the first thirteen holes. The course was in very good shape. Better than the first time I played there. The course is very hilly. You wouldn't want to walk it. There are some very challenging holes but overall it plays fair. I really want to go back and play on a sunny dry day. Two of us teed off at 7:20 and we finished by 10:45. Couldn't beat the price we got on GolfNow.com. The only negative is that it can get very confusing from green to tee. Often times you drive by one or more tee boxes until you find the right one.

The greens were awesome to play on, they had a true roll to them but there were some that were spotted with dirt and burnt out grass. Hole #1 is not a good first impression but it definitely improves from there. Can have some difficulty navigating from hole to hole.

Extremely disorganized! Starter had no idea what was going on. Seemed as if nobody had a tee time.

Woodbridge Country Club has improved a tremendous amount over the past year and a half. Excellent layout and challenging course. Best of all, they enforce the speed of play rule. No reason not too. Most clubs fail in this regard. We will be back.

golf course and staff were great. Went into the restuarant after and it was less than satisfactory. No non alcohol beers and only 1 light beer. It seemed like we we interrupting the staff's social hour.

Went with a buddy. A little hesitant based upon some of the reviews. Was very pleasantly surprised. Course has some great holes. Greens were great - a lot of contours and, thankfully, not at 'tour' speed. Some fairways had some thin areas but the guys we played with said they are much-improved. I never felt a need to take a lie, but I did miss one or two fairways :)

I was greeted in a very friendly way and the staff all day was outstanding. I had never played there and they helped me with everything I needed before and after. I teed off on time and played at a fine pace for the whole round. The course was in great shape, especially the greens. It was wet in places from the recent rain, but it seemed to have recovered really well. I will definitely be going back and recommend to everyone to go to Woodbridge!

Having played many courses in the state, I feel great recommending this course to anyone I see. The improvement in the last 18 months is tremendous. Greens are in great shape, fairways are great, and the beauty of the course is second to none. Had a great time and the staff was very friendly. Not to mention we had a great meal after the round. I'll definitely be back.

Great course thats on the Mend. After it was sold and became public conditions became terrible, Billy casper golf group has taken over and the it's on it's way back, greens were good almost like they were. still needs a little time to get to where it was.

For a course that was formerly a Country Club, it needs a lot of work.
