A long par-4, the second has an open driving zone. This beautiful hole also shows the secluded, parkland nature of Tekoa. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/10/2022
-
Hole three, par-3: Tekoa is a “Golden Age” course, and this forced carry over the pond may be the only real nod to modern design. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/10/2022

At seven (looking back over the hole here), you’ll first encounter the double green shared by this hole and the sixteenth. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/10/2022

Twelve: The towering pines on this par-5 (along with those of the 13th) appear to reach as high as the columns in a medieval cathedral. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/10/2022

Seventeen is a long and difficult par-4 stretching to 445 from the back tees. It also doglegs right–at a 90 degree angle. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/10/2022

Pars are well earned at the long eighteenth, a par-3. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/10/2022

Very friendly staff
We actually arrived an hour late for our tee time. The staff was very nice and fit us in even tho we were late.
This course has interesting layout
It was heavy rain whe we played first couple holes and did not do good but the course was still playable and fairway has pretty good shape. The course is short but most holes are dog-leg and so do need descent driving distance. Overall we enjoyed the round.
This course is very playable.
Tekoa is a flat course. Also, most of the greens are void of undulations, very level. What makes it somewhat challenging is the numerous pine trees beautifully lined up along the fairways. A couple of nice doglegs will make you think a little bit. Great clubhouse for a cold beverage afterwards.
Great Conditions
Have played Tekoa quite a few times, but had not played it for a couple years until this past weekend. The course was in excellent shape. The greens were rolling fast and true. Pace of play was a non issue, we played 18 and decided to play another 18 with a cart for super cheap. 36 holes in under 8 hours with a hotdog and beer between 18's... Couldn't beat the price if you tried.
super nice, looking forward to playing it again.
Pleasent experience. Course was in awesome shape and the staff was super friendly. I highly recommend this facility.
The course was in very good shape overall.
I've golfed Tekoa before and have always found it a positive experience. Today the pace of play was quite good, which is not always the case. The greens and fairways were in very good condition. Other golfers and staff were very pleasant. The course itself is well suited for the average golfer. There are challenges but it is not excessively difficult. The terrain is flat throughout. Today's rate, through golfnow, was a definite value.
Nice course in very good condition.
Never played Tekoa until this experience. Would return. Tee boxes, fairways and greens are in real good condition. Course is tight with several tee boxes close to adjoining greens, requiring players to be considerate of others with talking, etc.
nice place,
overall the course was in great shape, some bunkers could have been in better shape
Overall good course
Course was in pretty good shape minus the air rated greens, but not much you can do about that. The rough is inconsistent, either you are 6 inch super thick rough or on hard pan, no I between. Overall could not beat the deal. Food was great as well
The course has an enjoyable layout.
The course was in fairly nice condition and the people were very friendly from the pro shop to the 19th hole. The only negative was the greens had just recently been aerated and top-dressed making the putting a real challenge at best and down right miserable at worst. I don't recall any notification of that on the golfnow website. If it did I must have missed it but I do recall seeing that on other courses and purposely avoided those.
Decent course
Tekoa, to me, is just an average course that charges rates higher than some of the best courses around. The course layout is flat and has only one water hazard (Par 3-3rd hole). Fairways were in very good shape for mid-April and it's definitely the best of the 3 Westfield courses. Dealing with Westfield traffic can be a fiasco for me, so I will probably play elsewhere in the future.
course was maintained well
Had a great time. the course was well groomed. the staff was friendly and the club house has great food
Great course and great staff
Course was in great shape, very well maintained. Staff was very friendly. I would definitely recommend this course for any level of player.
A great place for all levels of players
A great job by everyone there, to turn around a tired old golf course, and restore it to a very good conition once again! check it out.
The Tekoa grounds crew has been working hard and provided us with a course in excellent condition. Glad we played here with our Safari Club friends!
