A long par-4, the second has an open driving zone. This beautiful hole also shows the secluded, parkland nature of Tekoa. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/10/2022
-
Hole three, par-3: Tekoa is a “Golden Age” course, and this forced carry over the pond may be the only real nod to modern design. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/10/2022

At seven (looking back over the hole here), you’ll first encounter the double green shared by this hole and the sixteenth. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/10/2022

Twelve: The towering pines on this par-5 (along with those of the 13th) appear to reach as high as the columns in a medieval cathedral. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/10/2022

Seventeen is a long and difficult par-4 stretching to 445 from the back tees. It also doglegs right–at a 90 degree angle. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/10/2022

Pars are well earned at the long eighteenth, a par-3. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/10/2022

tekoa
Course in good shape, from tee to green. Pace of play was adequate, most of the time.
Would enjoy to play again at this price.
WORTH THE RIDE
I HAVE DRIVEN BY THIS COURSE MANY TIMES AND I'M GLAD I FINALLLY STOPPED TO PLAY IT.THE COURSE WAS IN GREAT SHAPE AND FUN TO PLAY.
MY GAME WAS SHAKEY SO I'LL BE BACK TO TAKE ANOTHER CRACK AT IT.
SAFARI GOLF ASSOCIATION
Om May 10th 2017 the Safari Golf Association played our opening day Tournament at Tekoa Country Club.
As usual the Course and staff were ready for us and did an excellent job.
So early in the season but the course was in great shape and the food/buffet afterward was great
Good value
Recently played this course after having last played it many years ago. I was pleasantly surprised by the good condition of the course, given all the bad weather the area had endured. I played in the Safari Club group, which brought 100 players to this course for the opening kick off.
Good conditions, nice layout, and hard/faster greens.
Great course to walk if you are able.
Safari Opener
Opening visit to our home Safari course found this course in its usual great shape for this time of year...Greens were in tip top shape with the 19th hole accommodating the whole crew...Hats off to EJ and his staff
Fun course to play
I have played this course with the safari club many times and have enjoyed playing it every time. It is a challenging course and is fun to play.
Good value for the price
Played the course last Wednesday with the Safari Club and had an enjoyable time. Fairways and greens were in great shape to begin the season. Also a plus for the club is the friendly staff.
Course friendly for group outings.
We have a special group of over 100 golfers named The Safari Club who play different courses each week. We start the season each year at Tekoa and End each season at Tekoa.
The manager/professional is very well organized and shows genuine interest in our group outing. The staff makes the group feel very welcomed and sets up a buffet at the end of the round. The course was in very good shape and the speed of play for over 100 golfers was excellent. I would highly recommend the course for a group outing or a nice leisurely round of a foursome. There is also the banquet hall to cater to large parties for special functions or weddings.
Safari Club Outing
We start our golf season here. For early may the course was in very good shape. Everything was ready for us when we got there.
safari outing
the safari group played - 1st time this year - course was in decent shape but greens were a little hard but still OK
Timely Tekoa
With some chilly winds and temps only reaching the high 40's, it wasn't the most pleasant day to play golf. But the sun was out most of the time and we were with great friends ALL of the time, so it wasn't difficult at all for our Safari Club members to enjoy another fabulous outing at this Safari Club favorite called Tekoa Country Club.
The wind from the previous two days had really dropped a lot of leaves down on the course and finding balls at times became quite a challenge. But we managed it all pretty well and the idea of hot chili and delicious sandwiches awaiting us in the clubhouse made our goal of completing the round even more inspirational.
The general consensus of opinion from our 100 plus members that played was as expected..."Can't wait to get back to Tekoa next spring"!
Beautiful setting
Have played there many times and always enjoyed it. Fairways and greens are very well maintained and food is outstanding. A relatively flat course which is great for those who want to walk 18. Played there with The Safari Club.
Goodwin Golf
Did a good job bringing it back. Still work in progress
Great day at Takoa
My husband and I played with the Safari Club and enjoyed a great round of golf at Takoa. Beautiful course in great condition. The staff there is great. Looking forward to going back there.
Beautiful setting
Golfing at Tekoa will be memorable. It is well maintained and challenging. Food at the 19th is excellent and staff is welcoming. Located on the eastern side of The Berkshires with nice views. I have played there often with The Safari Club of western Massachusetts.
Tekoa Safari Adventure
I played Tekoa With the Safari Golf Club 5/18. The weather, the course and the staff were suoerb. The course was in great shape. The Greens were a little firm but otherwise very good. I look forward to playing again soon.
