golfing in the Lakes Region
When you are in the Lakes Region Ridgewood is a must.
Slow Pace
Deathly slow pace of play! Would never play here on a Saturday again! Stood around forever between shots.
Felt like the longest round of golf I’ve ever played.
Plus they aerated the greens without notice when we booked our round.
Unfortunate
Bought round in advance. When I arrived, 9 holes closed for plugging that day. Worse, had 18 holes worth of guests on the other nine. 2:45min for 9 holes. Played well, but left due to frustration with pace.
Nice mountain scenery some carry challenges good puttingbgreens
My favorite
Ridgewood country club is my favorite course to play when I am vacationing in NH. Everyone there is friendly, including the maintenance staff. The course is challenging due to the many hazards strategically located on some of the holes. When I first started playing here, my goal was (and still is) not to lose too many golf balls :-). The conditions today were great. They also make a mean Bloody Mary.
Slow play
Wanted to play 18. Took 31/2 hours just to play 9. Slow play waiting on every hole. Great course
Enjoyable round...
The course was in pretty good shape. Greens rolled pretty well. but could use a rolling to make them run a bit truer. Major outbreak of japanese beetles on the greens. Hundreds of them. DIdn't see any of the yellow beetle traps anywhere.
Pace of play was good. Recommend.
Good day at Ridgewood
Ridge is a nice course ground crew works hard staff are friendly and tavern food is very good. Overall nice course
Always a pleasure.
Had another opportunity to play at Ridgewood. Course was in good shape staff very welcoming.
Nice day. Friendly operator.
Course operator was nice enough to send us off the back 9, as there would have been a family of four with two young children in front of us on the front nine.

I play regularly at ridgewood is one of the best course in the area and the staff is awesome.
Very nice course
I love going and trying golf courses, that I haven’t played before. Sometimes you come across some really good ones. I had never heard anything about this course. I was just searching on Golf Now for a hot deal and it landed me at Ridgewood. I was very pleased with the conditions of the course. The driving range was really cool. You hit into a pond and they have a floating green, it reminded me of hole # 17 at TPC Sawgrass.

It’s a great course for the area and can’t beat the price. The course is in great condition for spring golf. The course wasn’t very busy in morning started to see more people in afternoon, I play this course many times in the summer and would recommend it to anyone.
For the middle of April the course was in amazing shape. The greens were in fast and challenging head a great first round of golf
