Crotched Mountain Golf Club
About
Crotched Mountain Golf Club is a classic Donald Ross design set against a beautiful New England backdrop in the rolling hills of New Hampshire. The course is situated at the base of a mountain, offering beautiful views of the surrounding Monadnock region. This peacefully secluded spot is breathtaking in the fall when the leaves are changing. The golf course has many unique holes that will test your skill with a variety of different shots. Mature trees line the narrow fairways and there are strategically placed bunkers flanking the greens. You will also come across the occasional water hazard. There are some challenging holes but Crotched Mountain Golf Club is a fair and playable round that will appeal to a wide range of skill levels. The practice facility at Crotched Mountain includes a driving range and two different putting greens, including one with a sand bunker for chipping practice.

Cart path only !!
This is a very hilly course and the cart path only restrictions is a pain.
SANDY
The greens on this course were like playing on the beach it was so sandy. The first 9 fairways were also beat up but those in the back were in better shape. Very wet because they ran the sprinklers all day.

We are working to get everything up to par. The current condition is by no means the standard we strive to achieve. Thank you for playing Crotched Mountain Golf Club. We hope to see you again soon.
Crotched Golf
Greens had just been aerated and where very Sandy. Otherwise I can see greens being well maintained. Excellent views of mountain and fairways were ok. Overall a good value for your money. Will play it again.
Thank you so much for leaving us with your feedback. We value our customer experience, so your review is important to us. We will make note and we hope to see you back at Crotched Mountain Golf Club!
Rugged, but Fun!
The beautiful front nine were closed, so we played the back nine twice. The conditions were rugged: wet, bare ground on some of the fairways, damaged greens, but it is EARLY, so no stressing. LOVED the Pro Shop gal. Super food and drink. Will DEFINITELY be back.
Hidden Gem
Can always get a tee time and puts a lot of local courses to shame. Great course even better atmosphere. Hidden Gem
Great, Local, Reasonable Price
I have played this course for the last 4 years and have great respect for the challenges that it offers up. Spring golf here is better if your shoes are waterproof, Walking 18 is as good of workout as you can get. This is a little known gem of NH and it is never crowded Bring you camera because you will want to take a few pictures
Sick
Sick course, old school. Hard but fun. Better than all the preppy courses. Very affordable and challenging.
first time this year, and I will return
The terrain makes this a tough play for my ability, but it is a fun course. Hope to be back many times this season.
Shot makers course
Really fun but challenging course. Need to play the course and if you bomb it but not down the middle then you’ll need a lot of golf balls. Wind can really change the par 3’s but you can make up strokes on a few holes. Great Tavern with both nice bar and restaurant. Neither the golf nor the restaurant will cost too much
Needs Work
Course needs some serious TLC. Tee boxes are full of divots, sand traps are more like dirt traps. Pro was very rude when I checked in and asked for a key to a cart - even though I had prepaid for that option. Said “that’s extra because the rates are set for pairs and quads” even though there were 20+ carts sitting outside and as he noted I was playing as a single golfer with no paired group. It’s not the players job to pair people up, not to mention there’s no ranger regulating pace anyways so I ended up waiting behind a very slow twosome. I play a couple days a week in the surrounding area and have never been faced with this kind of foolery when playing as a single.
We appreciate you taking the time to review the course and rate us. We are going to pass on your feedback to the teams in charge so they can work to make changes.
Your feedback helps us do better. We are looking into this issue and hope to resolve it promptly.

Mountain therapy
Great morning golf. Golfed with a regular, who had great helpful hints getting through the course
Great value
If you like a laid back atmosphere with friendly people this is the place for you. A beautiful and challenging course that offers some of the best views and some unforgiving terrain to challenge your game.
Excellent NH golf
Enjoyed a fantastic early summer day of golf at Crotched Mtn. golf course. In spite of rather dry conditions in NH this golf season the course was in wonderful condition and the greens were exceptionally good. Not too fast or slow but allowing for a good putt to roll true and online without various impediments along the way. If you enjoy a mountain/woodland style of golf course Crotched Mountain GC is a must play! And if you can get a GN deal that’ll make it even better.
Course punishes you on center fairway shots.
Slanted fairways combined with blind landing areas often result in many lost balls. Still a fun course with lots of great scenery. Had a very slow elderly 3some ahead of us, so we skipped the 8th hole to get by them. Hadn't played here since early 90s, when Market Basket gave free passes to play here, so it was a nostalgic round, with dry, 74° sunshine and puffy white clouds. All for $16. How can anyone complain?!
"A great day out!"
I had a great day of early season golf! The course came through winter in good shape, and many repairs have been made throughout the course. The tee "redo" on 16 and 17 was a good idea. The course should really take off once the spring rain arrives. Overall, a good day with friendly pro shop staff, beautiful views, and turkeys gobbling in the background.
Thanks CMGC
