Very Much Let Down
Based off of the ratings, I thought this place was going to be nice. Really, the only thing that was nice about it was the greens. The rest of the course was pretty beat up, it had no views, and it was as short as you’d expect based off of the general info. I played 18 on a hot deal at $35 and I have played WAY better courses at that rate this season. I would not recommend this to anyone except a father who’s planning to play with a young son.
A very fun, short course in a cool area.
I had a great time here and it’s honestly a miracle the course was able to open this year. Water came over the sea wall earlier this year... and the course was flooded for the first time in an extremely long time. While it’s pretty chewed up in a few spots... the greens roll surprisingly true and make for a very fun walk. Like many seaside courses, the wind is it’s main defense. You’ll need all your clubs, and have to hit a lot of shots. Be sure to take a walk after your round to see the old military infrastructure behind the first tee too! Check this place out... it’s a great reminder that golf doesn’t have to be expensive or long to be fun and challenging.
Short 9 hole
This course is located on an Island, the wind can sometimes make it a bit more challenging but it is not a tough course by any means.
There is generally a lot of old timers here, but they play well and quick and are generally friendly. There is a lot of water, not ponds but more of a marsh feel. Easy to lose a few balls if you miss the fairway, but the fairways are wide.
It's not a bad option being close and cheap
