I am a Southern-born golfer that moved to Vermont in 2001 right out of college.
I had played a lot of golf, but didnt really learn to play well until I moved to Manchester, Vermont. The courses there are so demanding, you never have a flat lie.
I will say that you left out maybe one of the better courses in Vermont. You mentioned GlenEagles Golf Course at the Equinox, but you did not mention the Ekwanok Country Club right next door. This course was built in the early 1900s and has just as good, if not better views than the GlenEagles course. You owe it to yourself to check this course out. Tons of history here. Let me know what you think.
