Slow, Half Decent Shape, Good for beginners
If you are a beginner looking for a casual course to get stared on, this is your place. Friendly staff. Very slow pace of play and relaxed atmosphere, you will probably see players wearing timberland boots and t shirts during your round. The course is in sort of okay shape, but you won’t find the level of detail from some more expensive courses. For example, some of the tee boxes have grass almost as long as the rough. Front 9 is flat and open, Back 9 is more interesting layout and more hilly. A good place for a casual round for those new to the game, but course conditions and pace of play may frustrate more serious players.
Tale of 2 Sides
From the warm welcome of the staff to course conditions, this was a great day.
It is a tale of 2 9's as the front is rather flat with a few inclines, but the back 9 is full of elevation changes and visually appealing.
This course may a little off the main highways, and we did our research on courses in New Hampshire that kinda fits our needs, ( they have a Xmas store in town, so that was a major drawing card for this course in that we could take care of both needs in one basic stop)
I would play this course often if in the area.
bad front nine / good back nine

The course is usually crowded because of inexpensive memberships and summer tourists. Very slow play. The front nine is horrible to play. It is wide open and my group almost got hit 3 times. The greens are very bumpy and some are ridiculously sloped. The back nine is an attractive layout but very hilly with steep elevation changes. The condition is far better than the front nine but greens were still very bumpy. A course employee told me they dont even have a roller so they never get rolled. If your interested in only playing nine holes, the back nine is worth the price.
