I enjoyed the course very much. The course was in great shape. The greens rolled very good.

Greens were in terrific shape and the course was in excellent condition for fall golf.

UPDATE: I was here on labor day and i was helped by a diff person i havent seen, an older man. he was very nice, the course was in great shape, fairway and greens were great. had a great round. enjoyed the course.
not to hard but nice layout that uses all your clubs.

i started golfing here this year there are pros and cons about this course. But my most recent experience led me to finally write a review.

I called late saturday night at 630 and asked, " do you have any tee time for a 9 holes for a single, around 8-9am", the man replied let me check, yes 8:48" I said anything ealrier, he said no, I said ok i'll take it see you in the morning.

He took my name and phone number all done. I arrive int he monring and one of the owners, (there are 2), was very nice and when i told him i had a tee time, he asked me for the full 18 hole rate. I said oh, I am just playing 9 holes. He tell me there is no weekend 9 hole rate and he will charge me for 18 and if i stop after 9 he will give me a rain-check. Although I told him i asked for a 9 hole tee time, he still made me pay the 18 hole rate.

So 9 holes are done and i go back to the club house and now a different guy is there who said he is the "other" owner. I had to explain my self again and now THERE IS A NEW TWIST. He said here is you 9 hole rain check and it is ONLY GOOD ON WEEKDAYS. I said weekday, this is a Sunday which i paid for, i cant play during the week, only weekends.

He ha the guts to say he was doing me a favor cause no there courses int he area offer 9 hole rates and he didn have to do that. I said yes there is, Brookline GOlf course till 9 am, butterbrook till 9 am, newton comm anytme just to name a few.

I said it was your course fault to begin with. I specifically asked for 9 holes on Saturday when i called for the tee time, then i am told i will pay full but be given a rain check, then you tell me its a weekday only rain-check for a weekend rate i paid. and these are the owners?

THE PROS ARE IT IS A NICE COURSE TO WALK, ITS FLAT AND OPEN, RELEATIVELY EASY AND NOT TOO LONG. THEY DO KEEP IT IN GREAT SHAPE THE FAIRWAYS ARE NICE THE GREENS ARE AWESOME BUT.......

i have played here on a saturday 4 time and all of them are 5 1/2 to 6 hrs. They let a womens league go off randomly from 8-10 am on Saturdays? who lets leagues out on a saturday morning.

NEEDLESS TO SAY I GOT THE SHAFT WHEN IT WAS THERE FAULT FOR NOT INFORMING ME ON STURDAY THE I COULD PLAY 9, AND THIER FAULT FOR WHEN HE SAID I WOULD GET A 9 HOLE RAIN-CHECK, HE DIDNT SAY IT WOULD HAVE TO BE ON A WEEKDAY.

SO NICE COURSE CONDITION, 1 OF THE 2 OWNERS ARE NICE, BUT TEE TIME ARE ALWASY RUNNING LTE, THEY CRAM THEM IN 8 MIN APART, ALWAYS 2 GROUPS ON MOST TEES AND EASILY 5 AND HALF TO 6 HOUR ROUND EVERY WEEKEND MORNING.

Good place for a stress-free round. Not many threats of losing your ball, or forced carries. Greens are in good shape, and the contours are the biggest obstacle to a low score. I rode a cart, but the course would be good for walking.

Very tight. Several times folks were in our fairways from other holes. Very old school layout. Conditions were not too bad. Probably wouldn't go back.

The course was in great shape greens were in great shape. The pace and the value was fantastic. The owners of the course are very nice people.

I am an avid golfer always looking to squeeze 9 holes (or 18holes) during my lunch break ( typically 3hours). I happened to check your webpage and found the best red hot deal ever. I actually played 18 holes in a record time of 2 hours and 30 minutes.

Never seen a course try to fit as many golfer on at one time!!! This course was so over crowded it was not funny and a bit scary with fore being heard from every direction. Shame on the corse for allowing so many players it ruined the golf for everyone!!!never never would play there again, too bad it's a nice walk.

3-hours to play nine holes, almost 6-hours to play 18. if you go, try a Monday morning or some time not on the weekend.

The staff was very accommodating and friendly! The course is wide open and therefore forgiving to duffers. The pace of play was good. We played 18 holes in 3.5 hours. The club was warm and welcoming Worth a stop for a beverage after a day of golf!

Straightforward track, short yet challenging. Smaller greens in great shape. Got tee time on golfnow, $35. Probably not worth full price.

It is hard to rate a course at this time of year. These guys did a fantastic job cleaning up ,no leaves anywhere. Pretty open and an easy walk as it is not a hilly course.Excellent fairways and for the time of year I haven't seen better.I'd be willing to bet you could rate it pristine in full season.Pro shop was friendly and helpful. We had a great day.

Great deal for the course,,,, I would play it again, if I find another great deal like that one.

Allowed to start early and followed a twosome and a threesome who merged and played a five some. Not a problem for us, since we were not in a hurry. Someone else complained and they split appropriately. Management came out to apologize - very friendly and accommodating.

They delayed the start by 30 minutes for fog...this game came from Scotland, if they didn't play in fog they would of never played. The pace of play has been so slow every time I have played here I will not return. They cram so many people on the course the pace can never pick up. Never mind the amount of people playing in jeans and their latest 'gangster' apparel. It's a golf course...call me a snob or old fashioned, but come on!

Pace of play horrible...quit after 4.5 hours with three holes to play

Slow, overpriced, simple course. Would not go back again.

Got a great price on 18 with a cart and expected to be by myself. Was grouped with a pair of decent golfers and one novice.

Ended up getting backed up behind some other groups as well, which extended the round. Should have been able to get around in about 3 hours as the course is very compact and not too long. Had to rush the last 4 holes to finish in 4 hours.

This course is pretty straightforward. The Par 3's are a real challenge however. Love Love Love GolfNow!
