Quick, fun course for short-game practice
Pretty inexperienced golfer myself, so don’t have crazy expectations as far as courses go, but this was a pleasant experience. Tee boxes have seen better days but other than that course seemed tended to enough. Pace of play was the only issue, got stuck behind 2 men with 4 young kids, but owner/manager came around on a golf cart and told us to skip ahead of them and just swing back around for another 9 holes after we finished. It was cool to see them right something we honestly weren’t even mad/upset about. Coming back again soon with new buddies and probably will frequent here due to convenience. Thanks Stoneham Oaks!
Good little executive par 3
Pace of play depends on who is in front of you. Nice little course to loosen up and shake out the cobwebs
Nice Pat 3 course
Keep your woods in the car. Nice course to practice your irons. A little hilly but still easy to walk as tees are close to greens but no real concern of getting hit. Some real short holes but still fun with the elevation changes and narrow (treed) approaches.
First Tee-Time of the Year
For the first time out this course provided me a chance to "shake-off the cobwebs" to speak. Without having gone to a driving range yet this year it was nice to leave the Driver in the bag. Not a phenomenal course in any way, but for $13 bucks and an additional $7 to replay I couldn't ask for much more value. Staff was very friendly and overall got what I wanted out of it. Do not have lofty expectations. $13 dollars for a reason. Also, noticed quite a few children and teenagers playing who could slow pace of play down FYI.
Thank you for posting a review - however I must add to your negative review. The course rounds and revenue are up 28% this year - a direct correlation of improved course conditions and customer service.
