The condition of the fairways & greens was very good. For a small mom & pop New England course I'd say the fairways were extraordinary. I'm sure all the rain we had this Spring helped a lot. This course is a bit longer than we're used to playing but it felt quite compact & efficient. The course was hilly but very walkable and the designer made good use of the surrounding terrain. The greens were challenging but hole placement could have been a bit more varied. Course signage is sparse so use the map on the scorecard when finishing #5. Ample parking & a very quaint clubhouse which just oozes history. All in all a lovely course. We'll be back.
