Allendale Country Club

I was paired up with another "golfer" thru a discount golfing program. My "partner " had no etiquette and no business on a beautiful course like Allendale. The course is very well maintained with a very nice layout. Play was a little slow but not bad at all. Every group waited a minute or two for the group in front of them. No big deal until a two some behind us ( club members ) started driving the green while we were putting, then driving while we were waiting in the fairway for the group in front of us to get out of range. "No class" members and the "no etiquette" weekend hacker made for a terrible day. Club should rethink offering weekend discounts AND having a ranger. I live very close by but will not return to this beautiful course anytime soon. What a waste of time and money. Very disappointing day.

I felt the need to play a new course, so I gave Allendale a shot. The course was in great shape, the pace of play was excellent, and the course layout views were great. It took me an hour from where I live to get there, but it was well worth the drive. I'd definitely play there again!

I had been trying to get on this track for over a year...absolutely gorgeous for an early spring round...the greens were unbelievable...everything else was just as good...every member of the staff were exceptional from the Clubhouse Attendant to the Superintendent...it was an hours ride but I'd do it again in a heartbeat...just thinking how much better this place could be in season...Worth the trip!

Course is always in great condition , staff always accommodating

Course is in good condition, be sure to keep the ball below the hole. Very difficult for the average golfer. The guy I got paired up with must have shot 130.

I have played this course many times. In the summer I would give the conditions an excellent, but the greens have been air rated so they did not give a true roll. And it is fall and leaves are a problem off the fairway, and Im not talking in the deep rough either. I gave quality of food a poor because the bar was not open and it was cold and we wanted something to warm us up at the turn! Overall it is a great course and I know I will go again and again.

We had a great time trying this course, would love to play in spring or summer, to get a better feel! other the aerated greens - it was very enjoyable !

I have played at Allendale a few time this year, very nice golf course, except..would have appreciated knowing that the Greens were just Aerated, full of holes and sand!

Nice track! was well worth the drive. Greens great shape. Tee boxes need a little work.

Allendale is truly a great course. It is tough to find many semi-private courses with such reasonable rates (especially the hot deals) as Allendale. What I like best about the course is the layout. There is nothing that bothers me more about a golf course than if its gimmicky. Luckily for Allendale, that is not the case. This is a signature Geoffrey Cornish design, with many of the holes requiring you to unleash the driver. While other holes require a solid 190-220 Tee shot to set up a longer approach shot in. The par 3's at Allendale are also noteworthy, all par 3s are a reasonable 150-190yds, some with bunkers guarding the hole and others require you to navigate over the water. Allendale has become my go to course on GolfNow.

Fourth time playing this course in a week... Great shape

The overall condition of the course was very good. The greens are very challenging. Many greens are elevated with very significant contours and undulations. Speed of greens was fairly fast.

Excellent course very challenging. If you go there once you will want to return.

Afternoon play not many people they are good good pace the greens were very difficult specially if you went by the hole at the top of the green

Played with a friend and paired up with brothers who knew the course and were great to play with. Excellent course, very challenging, in very good condition. Staff was very friendly. Would like to play here again.

Greens ran true and fairly fast. Overall condition was quite nice. Pace of play on a nice Saturday afternoon was quite slow.

Great staff and course In a convenient location. The course superintendent even made a point to stop by and introduce himself during round! Great layout with many interesting holes . Great par 5's and challenging par 3's with some creative doglegs on the course. Some very nice water features around course and lots of room for errant drives. Overall a great experience.

Pretty flat/straight course with not a lot of elevation changes. A lot of the holes are basic layouts short par 4's with a couple of interesting holes thrown in between.
