Very tight course
It seems the holes are literally on top of each other, you can be teeing off and someone is putting next to you. Conditions are ok, lots of bare ground and rough areas, greens are small, ok but rolling slow. This course is the type you need to play it once just to get the layout, it is an older course and it shows its age. Not sure how Golfnow is giving it 4 stars.
A bit of a hidden gem
Had an absolute blast playing here. Course is tight, as others have said, but not many places where you lose your ball. Greens were the best part, the rest of the course condition is average. Design and layout are the best part, challenging holes that force you to think, and once you play it you want to run it back with that knowledge.
And that's where the best part is, I was able to play 36 holes in under 6 hours. Clubhouse staff was friendly and gave me some tips, pricing is bang-on considering the conditions but you can't get a layout like this in the area for anywhere near what they're charging.
Nice views
It was a very windy day and given its fall here in NE, there were numerous areas where the leaves made it difficult to find your ball. Things were running pretty tight, we did not have much time between the ninth and 10th hole to grab a snack and there was no one at the bar or desk to help us.
Very nice in fall
I've played here a few times in the past, and the course was in the best condition I've seen it this time (late October 2022). Only issue was leaves in some fairways, but that's unavoidable—and they had plenty of guys out collecting/blowing.
Nice course, interesting layout, and some great views. A bit of highway noise on some holes.
My only real complaint: No ball washers. What golf course has zero ball washers???!!!
Beautiful day for golf on a beautiful course
The blowers were out getting the leaves off the fairways. Greens and fairways in great shape. The course is hilly and the greens were faster than what I am use to. We played around lunch on a Friday so not busy and the pace was enjoyable.. The course is well maintained and the carts ran well. Playing here in the Fall is delightful for the colors of the leaves were incredible. Pro shop staff was friendly and the pumpkin beer at the bar after our round was enjoyed on a beautiful patio.. Thank you Wyckoff!
Good Course
The course was in excellent condition for fall golf. Greens were cut well and ran true. Friendly staff, well worth playing.
Water
The course was very enjoyable except for the fact that the fairways were dried out. Greens were slowed down from there normal speed I assume because of the dry weather. Otherwise they were in good shape. Traps were almost unplayable because of the rocks in some of them.
Good course
Course was in good condition despite the moderate drought in Western Mass. Surprisingly, The greens are in great condition. Definitely will return.
