Holden Hills Country Club

Staff was very good. From pro shop to starter - friendly and helpful. Spoke to a few regular members who were friendly and welcoming.

Rest of foursome ( did not know) did not show and Starter was good about matching me up with two really nice guys heading out.

Greens were good, but people gotta repair ball marks. Tee boxes ok, but rest of course in good condition. Played 18 in just over 4 hours and we're not held up or pushed, so that was perfect. Pay attention to where next tee box is and bring water as only on two locations on course.

Did not stay for food after, but nice looking 19th hole with plenty of after round refreshment. Would definitely go back.

Course is in good shape, they seem to overwater early morning, makes putting difficult through water puddles. You must play it a couple of times to get a feel for the course, overlap of some holes confusing even with signs. Lots of blind shots, forces you to pick your line and hope for the best.
I would play again, it was different enough for me to come back. Very difficult to walk, hills.

I had a tee time at 7:15, we arrived in the clubhouse a few minutes before 7 and were told that the other 2 people in our 4 some were already at the tee box. By the time that we arrived at the tee, they had already hit and were waiting for us along with 10-14 other people waiting to go off. As we moved through the course, we discovered that the group ahead of us had 6 players which I think was the reason that they thought that we were late. Course was in good shape overall although the bunkers could use a bit more sand as they were very hard. Would play again and the cost was very reasonable.

I work at a very nice golf course and I was impressed with Holden. The greens were fairly fast and true. Everything was well watered and mowed. The golf carts were clean and very nice.
