Should have been on golf now that only half the course was open
Nice course-great value
Long course but position key to scoring. Good conditions
Golf on Sunday 8/8
Always enjoyable to play Westover.
Came alone and was paired with a young couple.
Had a great time! Course is in fantastic shape! Greens crew has done a great job with the amount of rain we've had. Special shout out to John the starter. A very nice man / had a pleasant conversation. Will definitely be back to play again. One of the better public courses in the area!
Unbelievably slow
First off for a Friday mid morning round it was unbearably slow. It took an hour to play two holes. If that wasn’t enough I called the pro shop because I had received a call from my wife who informed me that we had a family emergency. I had asked not for a refund but for a rain check which was denied. I’ll never play here again which is saying a lot seeing that I’ve been playing this coarse for years. Buyer beware
Friendly Staff
The course was is great shape. The girl in the pro shop was very nice. Tony got us started, I had some questions being the first time we played there.. He was very helpful detailing the course. We made the turn for 10 and Tony was there to greet us again to see how the round was going. That impressed me that he was concerned how we were enjoying the track. We will def, play there again!!!
Highly recommend.
This is a fairly long and reasonably easy course to navigate. Wide fairways and playable rough. The greens are on the large side and offer plenty to shoot at. This is a great course for a player of any level.
Even on a Sunday morning with perfect weather, it wasn’t overly crowded. Although there were plenty of other players, it didn’t feel like the groups were on top of each other.
Long course, fun to play
This course is long and challenges you. Wide fairways are forgiving, but the rough can be punishing.
Fun course to play.
Pace
Sorry, the course itself was in good shape, the greens while fairly slow were smooth and true, but the pace makes the round a poor experience.
Even just calling the following group up, especially on 10, might get folks moving. Not only does the slow play take away a good deal of enjoyment, it is surely costing the course in real dollars.
Again, sorry, but over 5 hours for a round is too much.
Long wet course
Due to all the rain it has some wet areas but it is drying fast and plays longer. In good shape overall.
Hot day, busy course, fun to play.
