Played here this morning because we couldn't get on anywhere else. Been eyeing it on here for a while. Best 9 hole course I have played. It's a true 9 with a par 36 and some length. 2 long par 3s and 2 par 5s. 1 long, 1 average. 400+ and 380 yard par 4s then some normal ones and a short one. Elevation changes and not the biggest greens. Honestly couldn't stop talking about how great of a course it was even though it's only 9 (which I'm usually not a fan of). Layout is a little funky with one hole pretty much hitting at you but signage is easily noticed to watch out. Can't beat the price of $25 for walking and $35 riding for 9. This will probably be my go to if It's last minute and can't get a tee time or only have time for 9. Can't wait to see what the greens look like in a few weeks. They were aerated not too long ago and were top dressed...only reason I didn't give it a 5 star. Also if they could add more tee boxes somehow, this course really could be like playing 2 -9s. Few holes whites and blues were a big difference, but not so much on others. Overall, I would recommend for anyone looking for a challenging 9 hole course.
I paid Golf Now for 18 holes with a cart for two golfers, but the course didn’t allow any power carts — how do I get my money refunded?
Locked Clubhouse
Great course, love playing it.
Charged for a cart without the clubhouse being open or anything. Trying to find out how to get some money back due to this
Great course....9 great holes
Was first one out the day after Thanksgiving...great course...multiple tees with large distance differentials.
Lots of topography.
Highly recommended.
Packed
Played on a Sunday morning battling afternoon rain & NFL…. On a weekend the pats play a Monday night. Course was way too packed , took 2.5 hours to play 9. Outside of the time course is in great shape and was ideal for a Sunday morning 9.
FUN AND CHALLENGING
Our group enjoyed out round, The course was in great shape, especially the greens.
We'll definitely be back.
In good shape
A decent nine hole course always in good shape and the staff is friendly.
Nice course and great staff
If you are looking for a nice 9 hole course this place is perfect. Great staff and they keep the place in great shape.
Enlarge “No carts in parking lot” Signage
I’m sure there’s a valid reason why carts are not aloud in the parking lot, however; some older. people may find it easier to bring the cart to their vehicle to load their clubs. Also, most courses allow carts in the lot, so people who aren’t used to that rule do what they usually do and unfortunately don’t always pay attention to the posted signs. If the signs were enlarged and made to “Pop” or use larger print such as in the color Red, players may take more notice. It doesn’t make things better when the starter yells at people who violate the rule, especially if they just didn’t notice the sign. Respectfully.
Pace of play is dreadfully slow
Took 5 hours to play 18. They don’t have a good system of not scheduling tee times for when a foursome is making the turn and playing 18 (9 hole course). Almost every very slow older group o have encountered here is not receptive to letting quicker groups play through. Can make for a long frustrating round.
Pace was awful!
Tee time was at 2:10. As a single, was told that there were two others with me. When I went to the ranger (he was very friendly) he mentioned he sent the other two off 30 mins ago since they were early. Next two groups were foursomes so had to go out as a single. Went out and the first hole was open. That was hit. Every tee box had two groups waiting. It was terrible.
Good deal
The course is in very good shape. Pace of play is very slow I think because it’s a nine hole course and the turn takes forever.
