Excellent day golfing
Played at 8:50 on a weekday morning. Staff was friendly. Pace was excellent. We were paired with two other GolfNow customers who were great to play with. Best deal around!
We arrived about an hour early. They already knew we were coming and everything was all set. We had a great lunch in the clubhouse, fairly priced. The course was in great shape and the greens in really nice shape. My wife and I really enjoyed the day. Can't say enough nice things about it.
Hidden gem
I was absolutely delighted with this course set in the Berkshire mountains. The course is in great condition!! The greens are quick and have a lot of slope in them. The layout is pristine with beautiful scenery on every hole. We played this course twice on our vacation and can’t wait to go back!!
Fun Time with Plenty of Challenges
My wife and I played here and had a great time. There are several sets of tees including an up tee for beginners/short hitters so everyone has a chance. We were allowed to go off early as it was quiet and actually were encouraged by a couple of club members to do so rather than wait when it would get busier prior to our scheduled time. Lots of sand traps but little water to contend with. Fairways are wide and the first cut of rough manageable. greens firm and although they had been sliced a while back were true. Stay below the pin on most holes. Lots of water fountains on course for refreshment. Tee boxes generally in good shape. Each hole gives you the opportunity for a birdie and also a double bogey. A fun opportunity of you are in the area.
Easily the best in the area
I am originally from this town so I’m fortunate that this golf course is participating in the golf now specials... I’m certain you will find this golf course will meet your every expectation.... I know I won’t go anywhere else.
The three other golfers in my group were from Long Island and couldn’t say enough great things about it....
and don’t forget to grab some hot wings
An absolute gem
One of the best golf experiences I have ever had I highly recommend playing this course all the staff were friendly and helpful one of the nicest superintendence I've ever met at a golf course beautiful layout Wonderful greens I will always play when I'm in town
Great day of golf
Very nice course, with challenging holes. Both my wife and I were able to enjoy the round.

An outstanding course, conditions and Golf Now value.
Classic New England layout
One of several Wayne Stiles designs in the area from the golden age of golf architecture (1930), it's a manageable walk, set in a bowl surrounded by the Berkshires. Great hole variety, reliably good conditioning, modest but comfortable clubhouse. Happy to play it every chance we get (it's roughly an hour commute).
Slapshot swing
A beautiful warm early spring day, the Wahconah course was in terrific shap. Though the rough was a little on the overgrown side, it was still extremely fair. Pace of play was great....the only negative being that one of the carts in our foursome broke down around the 11th hole and. Caused an interruption in play for our foursome. Back nine is double the difficulty of the front nine. Still, a wonderful test of golf on a very good golf course.
Hilly Parkland Classic
Wahconah is not as famous as Taconic, its neighbor to the north or Berkshire Hills to the west, but in most ways it's just as good a layout as either. I rated the course as moderately difficult because the greens were slow this trip, but when they're fast in late summer you won't find many tougher courses as far as second shots go. The course is easily walkable with most tee boxes right near the preceding green, but its very hilly, so if you're not pretty fit it's better to ride. Generous landing areas and the fairways are in outstanding condition (greens were a little uneven). If you par 14 you'll be among the very few - easy drive, tough second shot, tough third uphill, brutal green!
Great track
Was pleasantly surprised about conditions of the course considering what an awful winter it's been in the Berkshires winter continued well into the spring other slower players were very accommodating to let you play through
Tough & Quick
Quite fast greens which were in awesome condition. Relatively tough course which is reflected in slope rating.
Greens difficult for high handicap
No washrooms on course. No food available except potato chips and even that was limited. Grass in fairways long. Hot deal on GolfNow, otherwise overpriced considering the conditions
