Wilson Lake Country Club
About
Wilson Lake Country Club sits along the banks of its namesake lake. The classic layout has been a local favorite since opening in the 1930s and is arguably the best nine-hole layout in the state. The golf course has an alternative set of tees for an interesting 18-hole round too. Though the design has five parallel holes, the up-and-down nature of the course will call for tricky second shots of varying lengths. There is no water on the golf course, but watch out for the mature trees and strategically placed bunkers that frame the greens. A Maine golf guidebook that was published in 1935 points to Wilson Lake Country Club's second hole as being "one of the prettiest one-shotters in Maine." This par 3 plays from an elevated tee across a gully to a tree-lined fairway.

Off the Beaten path!
Great little 9 hole track. Really enjoyed this course. The stiff breeze really made it a fun challenge today. Very friendly people working there.
Poor scheduling between Wilson lake and golfnow
Golfnow had me booked during a tournament
It was not an available time and made for a very long wait to start play and also to play
Wilson Lake
Course is in great shape and able play 18 holes in about 3 hours.
Huge greens
This is a beautiful course. Very large and very fast greens. Several bunkers but no water hazards. The par 3s are more deceiving than they appear. Overall will be playing again in the future for sure.
Nice Course
Enjoyed this 9 hole course, staff were friendly and they kept the greens looking nice.
Decent course, well maintained
Greens and fairways in great shape. Wide fairways. Only negative is it's only a nine hole course. Would recommend for the hotdeal price.
Stiles Gem in Maine
The only negative is that the course is only 9 holes. These are some of the best Wayne Stiles greens around, only a couple of his courses are better. Great layout and the conditions were great.
If you like golden age golf courses put this one on your list to play.
Bad Service, Good Course
The golf course is fine. It's a nice layout, and the greens are in great condition. Bunkers, and paths could use a little work. When we arrived there was nobody in the pro shop. Moments later a guy with a backwards hat smelling strongly of pot came in and said he was the pro. He collected our money, told us the carts were all set and we could tee off whenever. We went outside and loaded our carts, and realized there were no keys in them so we had to go back and get a key. The entire round it seemed the pro was on the deck smoking cigarettes watching us. Overall the course is in better condition than other area courses, and in better shape than when we played a couple years ago, but we had a poor customer service experience.
Greens Need Work
This was my first time at this course. Had a nice layout. T boxes and fairways were 7 out of 10. The greens were a 4 out of 10. If you were close by - then it would be a nice play - but I would not drive a significant distance to play there.
Overall good course.
Best deal that I have ever gotten. With coupon $9 for 18 and a cart?!? Unreal. Course was in fairy good shape. Fun set-up as well.
Great !
We traveled from western pa to the Belgrade lake area was a quick drive and nicest course we played. Staff was great locals great and could take your time and play threw if in a rush. Great play from rookie to advanced will be the only course we play when we return to the area . Most underrated course in the area !
Average course the woods can be challenging
Greens were not in great shape but fairways were ok.
