Beautiful October day
For $40 rate with the card on golf now and a 73° day in October in Maine I don't know anyone could complain. Of course was in good condition we have to accept that the greens aren't going to be mowed down at this time of the year. I would highly recommend this course to anyone looking for a unique up and downhill golf course. I personally do not like blind shots and discourse presents many of them.
Great Course !!!
Love it. Great views. Challenging course. Staff is great, very knowledgeable and courteous.
Great Shape
Course is in wonderful shape. Throughout round, I saw many people mowing and working on course condition. Also, teed off before 8A and played through one threesome to finish in a little over 2 hours for 18 holes. When I finished, there was certainly quite a few people on the course and mingling around the clubhouse.
Slow pace
The pace of play was very slow, 5 hours. This might have to do with no starter and at least 25 to 30 people waiting for their fee time on the practice tee.
Throwback!
What a treat! Hilly, bent-grass course with beautiful greens. The front 9 is a classic 1920’s layout with tess/greens close to each other while the back 9 is more spread out. #9 is a 253-yard par 3 but downhill enough to play more like 215. Really enjoyed it.
Great hidden gem
Was in Portland for the week, found this course online and it was awesome!
Great course very challenging
This course in great shape and very challenging with difficult pin placements. Plays longer than expected.
My round was a gift
My son treated me to a wonderful time at your course. We had a great time and your friendly staff made it very enjoyable.
Good time
Golf was nice, greens are hard, perfect for putting, fairways were nice as well, a few holes fairways are hard as a rock and hard to play from
