Good Day
Nicely laid out, for occasion golfer. Nice mixture of distances
Fine course
Never played the Red Course before.. course was in good shape & fun to play.
The Rookie
Not my first time playing here and it certainly won’t be the last. I love this place! I’m new to the game as of this year, have played as many different courses as I can, and find this place to be top notch. Very well maintained and the people make it better
The Rookie
I like this place, flat well maintained , the staff is very nice. This is a course that is a great value and I will definitely play here again
very disappointed
Fairways in very poor condition. Lots of bare spots along with clover and weeds.I would guess that due to course restricted to nine hole play upkeep is minimal
Greens were decent.
Won,t return to play this course.
First Round of the Year
This course was in surprising good shape. It was not wet and most of the winter debris had been removed. This is a great 9 hole layout with some very difficult holes. The 7th is a beautiful hole and fun to play.
Just a beautiful golf
This is not the first or last time I will play here. I’m fairly new at sport of golf, and it didn’t take long to get hooked ...Make No Mistake, it’s a difficult game. This course is very well maintained and has it’s challenges. Great value, I’ll definitely be back again and again.
Great price for a great course
We played the Red course which is a 9 hole course. The course is in great condition and having a cart definitely was an added bonus considering it’s only a few dollars less to walk if you are a senior.
Thank you for your 4-star rating of the Red course. We are very happy you enjoyed the course conditions and look forward to seeing you again this summer.
The golf course is well maintained and challenging.
Course has everything you need for a good day of golf
Have played this course many times and really enjoy going to Tunxis. Staff is friendly and professional and have never had a bad experience. It was our 1st time out playing this year and the Red Course is the perfect course to kick the season off with. Started off at the driving range and then practice putting range. The pace was perfect and the course was in good shape as always.
Will definitely play there a few more times this year.
Despite the tree damage from winter storms, the fairways and greens were clear. Naturally in early spring, the grass hadn't grown and the hazard lines etc were unclear. The greens were good. Last time I played this 9 was probably ten+ years ago. I'll look forward to playing there again when the course conditions are ideal.
Fair weather golfers
Temps in the low 40's had the whole course to myself
most of the round. Fairways & especially the greens
were in good shape. Not cold enough yet to stop for
the winter.
9 holes
Great price with cart. Course well kept and in good shape..Great staff.
Thank you for your 5-star rating. We hope you come back to visit us again this summer.
